This February, Photoroom is excited to announce a series of big product updates empowering higher image quality and creative control for our users. From our very own foundation model built for product photography, to a suite of AI tools and features by popular demand, we're cementing our position as the world’s most popular AI photo editor. But that's not all—more innovative features are on their way, so stay tuned for more updates!
New Updates
Curved Text
You asked, and of course, we listened! Curved Text is available now on Photoroom. Have fun bending your text however you like! To use this new tool on your Photoroom mobile app, simply open your design, tap text, insert your text, then tap look and then curvature.

Straighten your product shots with auto-rotate
It’s not always easy to take a photo with your phone when you have a shaky hand. If you upload a photo with a crooked object, Photoroom will automatically adjust the camera angle and straighten your images. It’s much easier to have a professional product photo ready to list online!

Higher quality AI Backgrounds (beta)
We have recently launched our own foundation model enabling even higher quality product images for you. Previously known as Instant Backgrounds, our new AI Backgrounds allows you to create sharper, higher resolution, and more detailed backgrounds that look realistic and professional. Previous issues with white outlines have also been fixed. We're starting to roll this out to a small number of beta users for initial feedback, and this will be available to everyone in the next weeks.

Resize and repurpose your images with AI Expand (beta)
Have you ever wanted to change an Instagram square post to an Instagram story size, without losing any details in the original image? For iOS users with early access, you can go to Resize and try our new AI expand tool to edit your image in whatever size you prefer!

Create anything with AI Images (beta)
Forget about Midjourney, now you can use Photoroom to easily generate any AI images for marketing assets, inspo pictures, or for whatever you like! It’s available to a beta group of iOS users for initial feedback and will be available to all iOS users.

Get notified for team collaboration
If you have Photoroom push notifications enabled on your device, you can now receive notifications when someone joins your team, when a team member adds one or multiple new designs to your team, or when a team member edits your design. It’s much easier to stay up to date with your team’s activities!

Soon, you can customize an area of your image with an AI prompt to add or correct the details of your image. It’s never easier to control and fine-tune your image to match your vision.

You can soon invite 2 additional people to your Pro Team for free.
